CARAT live | Saturday, July 19 | 8:45–11:00 AM | Downtown Cincinnati
Have you ever found yourself chasing something you thought you wanted—only to realize it wasn’t quite right?
Maybe a relationship, a job, or something else entirely?
And what if the very act of trying harder was the thing that's been keeping you from what matters most?
If so, you’re not alone.
On May 3, I stopped trying harder—and finally did the thing I’d been afraid to do for years:
I started sharing my story—the truth about what matters most to me.
Week by week, chapter by chapter, Chasing the Carat has been meeting women right where they are. Some I haven’t seen since childhood, some in decades, and some I’ve never met at all—but every single one has either thanked me, said, “Me too”, or “We have to talk.”
That’s why on July 19, we’re taking the conversation offline.
We’ll gather in downtown Cincinnati to talk about what we’ve been chasing, walk through the turning points in Chasing the Carat—and begin to see our own stories in a new light.
I’ll be joined by someone who’s walked closely with me through my own recovery—a trusted presence in the room, ready to offer grounding support as needed while we explore the deeper layers of our stories.
Women are longing for real conversation and deeper connection—now more than ever.
This live event was designed for exactly that.
Because when we stop trying so hard to make it work—and start trusting what moves us—something shifts.
We reconnect with the part of ourselves that holds the answers we’ve been looking for all along.
And more often than not, that kind of clarity begins with one brave sentence:
“We have to talk.”

5 Evidence-Based Reasons Why Real Conversation Changes Everything
1. Story as a Safe Portal
You don’t need to be “ready”—you just need to show up. Story bypasses defenses and gently opens access to the truth beneath the surface. It's not confrontation; it's connection—with yourself.
2. Integration, Not Just Inspiration
This isn’t about hype—it’s about clarity. With guided reflection and tangible tools, you’ll metabolize what surfaces, so it becomes lasting insight—not just a feel-good moment.
3. Real Conversations in a Regulated Room
You won’t be left alone with big emotions. Sharing in an intentional circle reduces shame, validates your lived experience, and helps you rewrite the story you've been living by.
4. Witnessing What’s Possible
You’ll see an embodied example of counter-cultural courage—walking away from what looks “right” to choose what feels aligned. When we see it, we believe we can do it too.
5. A Way Back to Who You Were Born to Be
This isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about reclaiming the truth of who you are—beneath the roles, rules, and expectations you’ve outgrown.
